Do you guys only work on Porsches?
Why yes, that's the only type of vehicle we work on here. Other German cars are great, unfortunately they are not our passion and we leave their care to someone else whose it is.
Will you guys work on my [YEAR] [MODEL]?
Is it a Porsche? Then yes, absolutely! If no, well then...bless your heart.
Do I have to have an appointment?
YES. We will always do our best to get your vehicle in as quickly as possible but you do need an appointment. We have a limited amount of space, lifts and techs in our shop and can only accommodate so many vehicles at once.
How soon can I bring my car in to see you?
That ultimately depends on what kind of work you need done. We classify our work loosely into two categories, day work and project work. Day work would be any kind of maintenance and/or repairs that need to be taken care of quickly-interval maintenance services, coolant leaks, alignments, IMS replacements, windows that won't go up, etc. These kinds of jobs are usually brought in within two week to four weeks, depending on length of time needed for the job and current workload. Project work would be any kind of restoration or engine/transmission rebuilds. Unfortunately for project work we are on a wait-list for each of our mechanics. We get all persons into the shop as quickly as possible, but that's not always quick.
Do you do bodywork?
No we do not. We will only handle the mechanical repair work on your Porsche.
So I have this engine that needs rebuilding...is that something you do?
Yes, absolutely it is. This qualifies as project work however. Please see "How soon can I bring my car in to see you?" as reference.
Do you guys still do that Saturday deal every month?
Yep, we call it Motoring Mavs at Mayo's. Click on the link and it'll take you to where all the info on those events is located.
